Location: Greensboro, NC

Position Summary

The Account Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and for actively prospecting for new accounts.  The person in this position is also accountable for meeting the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and sales goals of the company and for supporting the company vision and mission.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Identify prospects, customers and referral sources and develop/maintain relationships to ensure attainment of company business goals.
  • Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources.
  • Maintain personal productivity and quality standards that make possible attractive financial returns in order to provide excellent service to customers and ensure job security and career growth for staff.
  • Actively manage short-and-long term leads from external referral sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales process.
  • Manage marketing data using applicable sales management systems or tools (e.g. database, computerized call calendars and time management systems) to maximize efficiency and analyze data/marketing activity on a weekly basis.
  • Develop annual marketing strategy in conjunction with the EVP of Sales and identify opportunities where applicable.
  • Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company, soliciting only those desired products/services provided by the company and its suppliers, to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs.
  • Develop a call schedule to adequately cover territory and provide reports and data on results.
  • Investigate and resolve customer’s problems.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

 Skills and Abilities

  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills and a sales aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required to maintain effective relationships with customers, prospects, co-workers, vendors and others.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality.
  • Ability to identify and meet customer’s needs and requirements.
  • Must be goal-oriented, a self-starter, problem solver and highly motivated individual able to work independently.

Education and Qualifications

  • College degree preferred plus six (6) years of sales experience or the equivalent of sales experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to travel to customer and prospect sites and a reliable source of transportation.

Location: Danville, VA
Reports to:  Warehouse Manager

Position Summary

This position has shipping and receiving duties as well as driver duties (CDL Class A required). An average day will be spent fulfilling the warehouse shipping and receiving supervisory duties making one or two local deliveries to a customer. This person may also act as an occasional back-up driver for other routes as needed.

Primary Responsibilities: Warehouse – Shipping and Receiving

  • Supervise warehouse and kitting associates
  • Receive merchandise from freight carriers or transfers from other branches insuring quantities are accurate
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Pull customer orders accurately and prepare them for shipping
  • Assist in keeping inventory and warehouse including trash pickup, operating a scrubber and wiping off inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Primary Responsibilities: Driver

  • Route and load truck, when applicable
  • Deliver customer product(s) to designated area as requested by the customer
  • Verify that correct quantities and products are delivered to each customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to successfully manage a team
  • Ability operate multiple pieces of material handling equipment
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, changing warehouse environment
  • Must have basic math & computer skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to lift and carry up to sixty (60) pounds
  • Must be hard working and extremely reliable
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be trustworthy, dependable and safety conscious
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner to both employees and customers
  • Ability to work in variable temperature work environments (i.e. unairconditioned/unheated warehouse and environments of customers facilities)
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time operating a motor vehicle, including but not limited to, van, straight truck or tractor

Education & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Two (2) years of prior supervisory experience
  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Class A CDL in good standing.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years Class C driving experience, of which two (2) must be Class A

We are conducting a search for an eCommerce Manager to develop, execute & manage the merchandising and eCommerce action plan to drive B2B sales and profit in our eCommerce Platform.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor marketplace products, offerings and pricing and make recommendations for competitive change(s)
  • Continually test eCommerce platform’s usability across different devices and browsers and resolve breakpoints
  • Monitor and report conversion rates and sales
  • Maintain complete and accurate information for all products
  • Provide strategic business direction for the creation of communication tools (email campaigns, print catalog, websites etc.) in collaboration with the Marketing and Design Departments
  • Assist in the development strategies to assist in meeting Marketing and Sales goals
  • Provide revenue forecasts, merchandise assortment, key merchandise and seasonal merchandise promotion plans
  • Systematically monitor eCommerce platform, product reviews and customer communications
  • Responsible for price management including temporary, single and periodic price changes

 

Education/Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least five years business experience (sales and marketing experience preferred)
  • Experience working as an eCommerce Coordinator or Manager
  • Prior experience working with CMS systems
  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS and applicable computer systems (MS Office, Google)
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Must possess leadership, mentoring, training and project management skills
