Cold Chain Recycling
Cold Chain Recycling: Corrugated, Fiber, Film and Gel
At Morrisette Packaging, we are committed to sustainability and making it easy for you to recycle your packaging materials.
Here are the ways in which you can recycle your cold chain packaging components.
To recycle a corrugated box, simply flatten the box and place it with your other cardboard and paper recycling.
Natural fiber pads are fully recyclable. Separate them from the poly film and recycle the fibers where #60 cotton is accepted.
You can discard them with your regular trash—rest assured, they are fully biodegradable.
After removing the poly film from the natural fiber pads, recycle the film with your #4 plastic bags. You can easily find nearby drop-off locations using the interactive map below.
Allow the gel packs to melt completely. Then, cut off a corner of the pack, empty the contents into the trash, and recycle the outer plastic covering with your #4 plastics.
