Case Erection, Sealing
& Conveyor Systems
Complete end-of-line automation from case forming through sealing, conveying, and labeling. Eliminate manual bottlenecks across your entire packaging line — not just at the wrapper.
From Manual to Machine — We Handle Everything
Automated pallet wrapping and palletizing represent the end of a packaging line that may still have significant manual bottlenecks upstream. Morrisette designs and installs integrated solutions that address the full line — from case forming through sealing, conveying, labeling, and final pallet build.
Our in-house integrators don't just supply equipment — they engineer the connections between it. Every conveyor, erector, sealer, and labeler in your system is designed to work together from day one, with a single point of accountability for the entire line.
Automated Case Erectors
Manual case erection is slow, physically repetitive, and a source of inconsistency — improperly formed cases can cause downstream jams, damaged product, and worker strain. Automated case erectors eliminate all of this, forming perfectly squared cases at speeds no manual process can match.
- Forms, squares, and tapes or glues cases at speeds of 10–25+ cases per minute
- Consistent case geometry every cycle — no twisted, under-formed, or mis-taped cases
- Eliminates repetitive manual labor associated with box erection
- Reduces case-related line stoppages and downstream jams
- Available in semi-automatic and fully automatic configurations
- Compatible with a wide range of box styles and corrugated grades
Automated Case Sealers
Downstream of packing, automated case sealers apply tape or hot melt adhesive uniformly and securely — faster and more consistently than any manual process. Choose from standard tape, water-activated tamper-evident sealing, or high-speed hot melt for food and beverage lines.
- Uniform tape application on every case — no missed corners or loose flaps
- Water-activated tape (WAT) dispensers for tamper-evident, high-security sealing
- Hot melt glue sealers for high-speed food, beverage, and consumer goods lines
- Random-height case sealers automatically adjust to different box sizes in the same line
- Integrates directly with case erectors and conveyor systems for fully continuous flow
Custom Conveyor Systems
Conveyors are the connective tissue of an automated packaging line. They eliminate manual transport of cases and pallets between workstations, reduce forklift traffic in packing areas, and enable true continuous-flow operation. Morrisette's in-house integrators design custom conveyor solutions to fit any floor plan.
- Belt, roller, chain, and accumulation conveyors for every application
- Custom configurations to fit your exact floor space and workflow
- Integrated with case erectors, sealers, checkweighers, labelers, and wrappers
- Variable speed controls for line balancing and surge management
- Stainless steel and washdown-rated options for food and beverage environments
- Sortation and divert systems for multi-lane or multi-destination shipping operations
Complete the Line
A fully automated packaging line may incorporate additional equipment beyond erectors, sealers, and conveyors. Morrisette supplies and integrates all of the following as part of complete line solutions.
| Equipment | Capability |
|---|---|
| Automated Labeling | Print-and-apply labeling systems that apply shipping, compliance, and product labels at line speed with precision placement — eliminating manual label application errors. |
| Checkweighers | In-line weight verification systems that reject under- or over-filled packages, ensuring compliance with fill weight requirements and preventing costly mislabeled shipments. |
| Bagging & Form-Fill-Seal | Automated bagging systems for poly bags, gusseted bags, and specialty formats — including Morrisette's patented Shrink Smart technology that eliminates tail-end waste in poly shrink wrapping. |
| Stretch Hood & Shrink Systems | Full-pallet stretch hooding and shrink tunnel systems for loads requiring full coverage and weather protection during outdoor storage or transit. |
