How Will Kitting Benefit My Business?
A good kitting service can benefit any business that is involved in a lot of e-commerce, or just any business that has a lot of packaging needs. Morrisette can help you keep your business on track by delivering your packaging to you all assembled and ready to be shipped out. This may not seem like a lot at first, but you must realize how much time and effort goes into assembling packaging units. Some packaging designs can be fairly difficult to assemble, whether due to many components being involved in the process, or because of the designs themselves just being too complex to be assembled in a timely manner on top of doing everything else that is required in the workplace setting. Our kitting process eliminates the need and worry in regard to packaging. We have the space, money, and workforce to assemble your packaging units under our own roof. It all begins at our corporate location in North Carolina, where we can go directly from designing a packaging unit that fits your needs to prototyping, to finally producing it with our assembly team, all in the same building. With a number of locations across the southeast, and with our certified partners in other locations, we have the ability to set up a supply chain that is tailored to your needs. With all of the resources available to us we can ensure that your supply chain stays stable and supplies consistent packaging that meets your standards and ours. Kitting can give your employees the freedom to focus on the product being made, rather than the packaging and shipping process. This will ensure a better product is making it to your customer, and that your workforce can focus on the important parts of the business. Kitting also can save you money when it comes to your labor force. If you’re having us do the packaging in some kind of deal, then that’s one less team of people that you need to be paying to keep your business moving. There’s also the issue of space. You need somewhere in your facility to actually erect packages and pack them. Morrisette’s kitting process eliminates this need as well, because, as was mentioned, we do all of the kitting on our site. When all is laid down, kitting can really make a difference in any business.
